My first time visiting Scituate Lighthouse was completely spontaneous and unplanned. I was out shooting the Boston skyline as always with my younger brother and a photography friend. We decided to take the ride out to Scituate to catch the sunset and take advantage of the decent weather we were having for a winter day. The Scituate Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse located on Cedar Point in Scituate, MA. It was built in 1810 and has gone through multiple reconstructions and renovations throughout the years.
It was tough to get shots of the lighthouse the first time I went out there since there were a lot of people along the cliff walk and on the rocks around the lighthouse. I guess they had the same idea as us of taking advantage of the nice weather we were having. It must have been around 50 degrees in the middle of January. Every picture I took had people in it so it was a bit frustrating when it came to editing. However, I was able to get some really nice pictures that day.
